The Nora Lighting NFBIC-6LMRATA is a spec-grade 6" LED dedicated fire-rated new construction housing carrying a cULus two-hour fire rating. Accepting up to 17.5W on 120/277V input, it pairs with Nora's Cobalt (NLCBC-669/NLCBC2-6), Onyx (NOX-56/NOXAC-56/NOXTW-56), Pearl (NPR-56), and Marquise III (NRMC3-6) LED downlight engines. Its double-wall, non-combustible fiber insulation is cULus classified for one- and two-hour fire-rated floor-ceiling and roof-ceiling assemblies and provides sound deadening for commercial, multi-family, and residential projects. The IC, air-tight housing (<2 CFM per ASTM E283) is built from 22-gauge galvanized steel with a die-cut plaster frame, and ships with adjustable bar hangers, captive nails, and a prewired galvanized junction box with quick-connect leads for fast installation. Dimming is specified by the paired downlight.
