The RAB Lighting EXITEDGE-1WPSNY/E is a single-face edgelit New York City–compliant exit sign with integrated emergency battery backup and self-test functionality, designed for commercial egress installations subject to NYC electrical code requirements. The self-test circuit automatically verifies battery and LED operation at scheduled intervals to reduce manual testing burden. Red LED lettering on a white faceplate with aluminum housing operates on 120/277V, with emergency battery sustaining illumination during power interruptions in corridors, stairwells, and assembly occupancies.
