The Elco Lighting ELL4621WW is a 4" new construction IC airtight recessed housing from the ELL Series, intended for ceiling plenums with 2×6 joists or greater and suitable for both IC and non-IC applications. The single-wall construction is rated for direct insulation contact, features an ASTM E-283 airtight gasket, and accommodates ceiling thicknesses up to 1½"; it accepts Koto™ modules, LED inserts, and PSA37/MR16 trims (sold separately) at a maximum of 18W on 120/277V. An optional 277V-to-120V step-down transformer is available, the housing meets Title 24 requirements, and it is listed for damp and wet locations with select shower trims.
