The Elco Lighting E6LC12ICAD2EM1 is a 6" Cedar™ System new construction IC airtight housing with driver, rated 1200 lm, for high-end residential and light commercial ceilings. The single-wall housing is cUL listed for direct contact with insulation and works in IC and non-IC conditions; its gasket restricts airflow to ASTM E-283 airtight requirements. The 120/277V driver (power factor ≥0.95) gives flicker-free 3-in-1 Triac, ELV and 0-10V dimming and meets Title 24. This is the emergency-backup version; Elco's sheet describes the emergency option as a 90-minute, 120/277 VAC battery pack with a test indicator switch. Pre-installed True Nail hanger bars span up to 24" for joists, T-grid and drop ceilings, and the housing adjusts for ceilings up to 1-1/2" thick. Damp location listed (wet location with select trims). For use with Elco Cedar™ System 6" LED light engines, sold separately. Generation 2, not cross-compatible with Gen 1; 5-year limited warranty.
