The Elco Lighting EL8SQICA is an 8-inch square Type IC airtight new construction housing rated for direct insulation contact, serving new construction applications where a square ceiling opening is required with an E26 medium base lamp at 120V and 75W max A19. Double-wall aluminum construction with an integral thermal protector and captive bar hangers for up to 24-inch joist spacing provides enhanced thermal performance; airtight when used with lensed trims, and cUL listed for damp location and feed-through wiring.
