The Elco Lighting RR9ICA is a 6" airtight IC-rated shallow remodel housing engineered for retrofit applications in shallow ceilings where 2×6 joist construction limits plenum depth, accepting PAR lamps via a Medium Base (E26) socket at 120V. IC-rated construction allows direct contact with ceiling insulation, and the included gasket provides an airtight seal that supports energy code compliance. Four remodel clips secure the housing across varying ceiling thicknesses, and the adjustable socket bracket ensures consistent lamp positioning; an integral thermal protector guards against improper lamping, and the pre-wired junction box features 1/2" and 3/4" knockouts with removable access plates. cUL Listed for damp location and feed-through wiring.
