The Elco Lighting EL2699RA is a 3" low voltage airtight remodel housing for 12V MR16 GU/GX5.3 bi-pin lamps up to 50W MAX, built for retrofit applications on 120V with a thermally protected 120V/12V/50W magnetic AC transformer. The magnetic transformer is recommended for use with 20W–50W lamps only; installations requiring 3W–50W LED compatibility should use the EL2699REA electronic transformer variant. Dimmers must be specifically rated for magnetic transformer loads; lamp is sold separately.
