The Elco Lighting EL2699A is a 3" low voltage airtight universal new-construction housing built for 12V MR16 GU/GX5.3 bi-pin lamps up to 50W MAX on a 120V–12V magnetic transformer. The integrated magnetic transformer is recommended for use with 20W–50W lamps only; contractors requiring compatibility with 3W–50W LED sources should specify the EL2699EA electronic transformer variant instead. Lamp and trim are sold separately.
