The Visual Comfort & Co. Element 4″ Fixed Downlight is a next-generation recessed light engine engineered for precision, flexibility, and longevity. Its patented high/low lamp positioning lets you place the LED closer to the aperture for maximum output or recessed deeper to minimize glare—adapting to the demands of any architectural or hospitality environment. Available in static white, warm dim, tunable white, and Xicato LED configurations, the Element 4″ delivers premium-grade illumination in a housing reduced by 54% for faster, cleaner installation.
- Patented High/Low Lamp Positioning: Uniquely reposition the LED module closer to the aperture for maximum light output, or higher in the ceiling to reduce glare and flash on the trim—no other fixture required.
- 54% Smaller Housing: A dramatically reduced housing profile simplifies installation in tight ceiling cavities while maintaining full IC airtight performance and compatibility with up to R60 spray foam insulation.
- Field-Changeable Optics: Accepts multiple TIR or reflector optic options that swap out in the field without special tools, plus two simultaneous optical controls and an optional trim-mounted lens for refined beam shaping on the fly.
- Versatile Ceiling Integration: Compatible with flanged, flangeless, and flangeless wood-ceiling trim options—including damp and wet (shower) locations—and backed by a 5-year warranty and a rated 50,000-hour L70 lifespan.
