Westgate's warranty covers manufacturing defects only when the product "was purchased from an authorized Westgate distributor, has authentic Westgate markings, and has been used in accordance with the installation standards of the National Electric Code." Coverage runs by category: 7 years for outdoor lighting; 5 years for industrial, commercial indoor, residential, ribbon, undercabinet and landscape brass and copper; 3 years for landscape aluminum and exit and emergency lighting; 1 year for electrical products.
